We’ve taken on the ASPCA’s $100K Adoption Challenge.

During this unique contest, 46 animal shelters across the country are competing to save at least 300 more animals—during the months of August, September, and October 2010—than over the same three-month period in 2009. 

KHS is the ONLY Kansas competitor in the nationwide ASPCA’s $100K Adoption Challenge. 

If we have the most dog and cat adoptions, we’ll win a $100,000 grant from the ASPCA.

We’ll use the money to save more animal lives and support our vision of ending the euthanasia of adoptable pets by 2014.

How can you help? By adopting a dog, cat, puppy or kitten from KHS from August 1 – October 31.

We’re offering awesome specials, fun events and more over the next three months to encourage adoptions and support our efforts.

The ASPCA is awarding a second grant of $25,000 to be awarded to the shelter that engages the largest number of community members in helping to save more lives.
