All Eddy’s car dealerships around Wichita – Eddy’s Toyota, Eddy’s Ford of Augusta, Eddy’s Chevrolet Cadillac, Eddy’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Eddy’s Volvo - and Subaru of Wichita, will take part in a free Adopt-A-Pet day on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. or until the last animal is adopted. The Adopt-A-Pet day will benefit animals from the Kansas Humane Society, Beauties and Beasts, and Wichita Animal Action League. Eddy's Adoption Event

Eddy’s will cover the cost of any dog or cat adopted that day, except for puppies and HIPP animals. Eddy’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Eddy’s Chevrolet Cadillac will have cats available for adoptions while all other locations around the city will have dogs available.

“We’re excited to match animals in need with forever homes. All three of the shelters do such great work in our community.” said Brandon Steven, owner of Brandon Steven Motors.

Eddy’s will also provide a certificate to customers who come in to any of the dealerships to cover the cost of an animal at one of the shelters. If a customer wants to adopt an animal, but isn’t at one of our locations, they will be able to take the certificate and pick out the animal at no cost to them.

“Animal shelters tend to see an influx of dogs and cats during the spring and summer months and sometimes it can be hard to keep up,” said Mark Eby, President and CEO of the Kansas Humane Society. “That’s why we’re so excited to have Eddy’s come alongside us, WAAL, and Beauties and Beasts to help adopt out animals and find them forever homes. That will allow us more room and resources to take care of other animals.”

By the age of 17, Brandon Steven was selling cars and learned quickly that he had a knack for the business. After graduating at Southern Illinois University, Steven he came back to Wichita to start Brandon Steven Motors. After starting with one location in Augusta, Steven expanded to three locations, and in 2004 he bought his first new car dealership. Today, Steven owns nine dealerships across Wichita and one in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Steven believes the sky is the limit for his businesses in Wichita and Lee’s Summit.
