We are in urgent need of foster homes for dogs and cats! You can make a difference and save lives by becoming a foster pet parent for KHS. Our goal is to help as many animals as possible find loving homes through adoption, and fosters make that possible! Most animals need a foster home for 1 - 2 weeks.
Foster pet parents provide a temporary, loving home to animals in need. You can help animals that are underage, sick, under-socialized or in need of other care. Fosters help these animals become healthy and ready for adoption.
KHS provides all of the supplies and medical care needed and you provide the home. To become a foster pet parent, your own pets should be spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated. You will need to attend a foster training and complete the license application for the Kansas Animal Health Department. KHS will assist you through this simple process.
